We congratule the following on their important achievement in their Masonic life:

VWBro. Colin David Preece (pictured left), Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons, was presented with his 50 year Jewel (in the Craft) at the meeting of the Lodge of Light No. 11 on Tuesday 19th February 2013.  He was also conferred as Past Junior Grand Warden (Craft).

He joined Freemasonry in the Windsor Lodge No. 770 NSW & ACT Constitution but has served this Constitution, particularly the Mark Degree with distinction.

On Thursday 24th January 2013,  RWBro Trevor Gordon made a presentation of a 50 Year Jewel to RWBro Keith Williams, at the Balaklava Owen Lodge No. 52. (pictured here right).

In making the presentation, RWBro Gordon outlined some of the achievements Bro. Williams had attained since his initiation into Freemasonry in the Balaklava Lodge on 24th January 1963.

These achievements included being Master of the lodge 6 times, Secretary for 30 years and Treasurer for 28 years. Keith was also instrumental in the upgrading of the lodge facilities.  This fact was recognised by the Lodge by having the festive board area named the Keith Williams Room.

Keith was also active in Grand Lodge, having served in a number of ranks including District Superintendent.
