During the month of May, Grand Lodge is once again participating in South Australia's History Festival event as in previous years.

History Festival is one of South Australia’s largest community events which began in 2004 as SA History Week and has grown each year. The Festival promotes the State’s wonderful collections, places and stories through an amazing range of history-related activities.

Its popularity and success is due to the hard work and enthusiasm of the event organisers, including thousands of volunteers, who are passionate about sharing our history.

On Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th May 2016 Grand Lodge building will open with guided tours of around 10 people per group, conducted at 10:00am and 2:00pm.

This presents a fantastic opportunity for the Freemasons to “show off” this wonderful building to the public at large but to do this we will need a large pool of volunteers to act as guides over the weekend.

If any Brother is able to volunteer as a Tour Guide for this special event, please register your interest with the Grand Lodge office by phoning 8223 1633 or by email to: danielle@santfreemasons.org.au.

Training and notes will be provided to all guides.
