The Strathalbyn Freemasons Lodge of St. John Scholarship is awarded to two Year Eleven students to assist them to continue with  their Year Twelve studies and prepare themselves for their future direction in  life.

It is awarded on the basis of their overall ability and commitment to  the school life in general not just scholastic achievement.  The Lodge raises the funds for the scholarships at the monthly market, organised by  the Strathalbyn Lakes & Tourism at the old railway station, the street  party at "Christmas where the on the Angas Flows" and the Strathalbyn Show.

2015/2016 will be  the 150th year that the Freemasons Lodge of St. John has been in existence and the Lodge is hoping to add another scholarship for that special anniversary.
